Waste water treatment in Poland

HAGER + ELSÄSSER recently won the contract to realize a waste water treatment plant in Poland.

WWT für eine Hefeproduktion

HAGER + ELSÄSSER recently won a contract to build a treatment plant to enable wastewater from food production to be discharged directly into a river. In order to achieve this, the plant has to meet stringent EU requirements both reliably and continuously.

The wastewater has a flow rate of approximately 2500 m³/d and high concentrations of COD, BOD5 and nitrogen, and will be treated by an Activated Sludge Process. This process consists of a selector, nitrification and pre-denitrification unit and a sludge dewatering stage. The plant will be commissioned in time to allow it to be put into operation before the end of year 2010.

The staff of the HAGER + ELSÄSSER Branch office in Poland will focus on ensuring efficient communication and local elements of supply, thereby ensuring that the plant is delivered successfully within the contract programme.
Following completion, and during the lifetime of the plant, HAGER + ELSÄSSER's office in Poland will provide full, local, service and technical support to ensure that the plant continues to operate efficiently.
