Achema 2009: Frankfurt, 11 – 15 May 2009
This year’s Achema gave no cause for a mood of crisis. According to the organizer, the most important topic this year was process efficiency, i.e. the economical use of energy and resources. This trend could also be seen at the Hager + Elsässer stand; one of our core subjects this year was ROCEDIS ECO, a water generation plant for the pharmaceutical industry with an overall yield raised to 85%.

Further key topics were energy production from highly polluted industrial waste water, as well as wall-to-wall solutions for utility companies and the petrochemical industry. This great variety of topics made for numerous interesting discussions on our stand that was always well attended, and many of them encouragingly dealt with concrete forward-looking projects. Both nationally and globally, the demand for high-quality water and waste water treatment plants continues to be at a high level.
